| (Tysons Corner, VA) September 12, 2002. Wachovia Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Wachovia Corp, completed the acquisition of Mooney and Associates, a group benefits insurance agency located in Fairfax, VA. The acquisition further enhances Wachovia’s multi-line insurance offerings in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
