GMI Insurance Services Acquires
the Auto-Rental Fleet Program of USI Rental Specialties
[November 17, 2003], Valley Forge, PA; G.M.I. Insurance Services (ìGMIî) of Valley
Forge, PA, a leading managing general agent for transportation insurance nationwide,
announced today that they have acquired the assets of the auto-rental fleet program of
USI Rental Specialties of Irvine, CA. The acquisition further solidifies GMIís status as
one of the nationís leading providers of insurance in the rental fleet industry. Terms of
the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction was effective October 31, 2003.
GMI, founded in 1980 by Norman Trudel, also offers transportation related insurance
programs for trucks and motor home rental fleets, mono-line business auto, auto leases
and loans, non-franchised auto dealers, and auto service and repair garages.
