RT Specialty to Acquire Hartan Brokerage
March 23, 2016, CHICAGO, IL – R-T Specialty, LLC (RT Specialty), the wholesale
brokerage unit of Ryan Specialty Group, LLC, has announced it has reached agreement
to acquire substantially all of the assets of Hartan Brokerage, a wholesale insurance
brokerage operation based in New York, NY
Established in 1986, Hartan Brokerage has established itself as a premium wholesale
broker and Managing Underwriting Agent and has been assisting the agency and broker
retail community with carrier solutions and proprietary products since its inception.
Hartan is a nimble, service-oriented organization with regional focus that maximizes
national leverage for their clients.
RT Specialty Chairman and CEO, Timothy W. Turner said, “Ed has built a superior
wholesale brokerage operation and MGA that will enhance our presence in New York.
